Well we made it, £700 up!

Sort of limped over the line, thanks to my first major cockup with the Betfair horsey multiples. Holding out for a good lay price on the first, I missed the off and the nag in question drifted badly. Had to do a damage limitation exercise and managed to get away with a £5.73 loss. The horse lost anyway and I have now completed the £40 cashback, so happy to call that a £34.27 profit for the day!

However does raise a good point about discipline and greed. I could have had that same selection for just a £2.70 loss and again we are tlaking about free money here. I should be grateful for it and take it, rather than hang on for a few extra pennies.

Ah well, still a great offer, long may it continue Betfair!

The casino offers I had been promising didn’t really work for me. 2 x cashbacks for £10 and £5 each at Betclic and William Hill respectively. I tried to double up on both, with a spin of the roulette wheel and LOST, BOTH, bloody red! Still these were both risk free.

Also had a Blackjack promo over at Ladbrokes. Wager £30, get a free fiver and then get an extra fiver if Steven Gerrard gets a card in the Man United v Liverpool game on Sunday. I ended up £2 down even after getting the bonus credited, so will be hoping for some Red Mist come Sunday to get me back in profit.

Cracked on with my Jetbull wagering, nice match up in odds on the Doncaster / Leeds game helped me pick off the first batch of that, need to wager £1200 to get a free £120 so will report on the final figure when I get it.

Anyway over £30 today, despite my efforts to wreck it and should be a few more quid to come over the weekend.
