Torres Cashback

Can you smell the cash Fernando? (or however the song goes). As here we go again more cashbacks from Ladbrokes. Fresh from our recent profits then the these boys have yet another brilliant cashback offer for the Chelsea v Liverpool game.

So if you ain’t got an account yet you really should get one as you are missing out on some great deals, look…..

Money back if Fernando Torres scores at any time against Liverpool (20/11/11) – upto £100

This is an excellent offer as you can get some great value playing these or you can even lock in some guaranteed profits if you like too.

All you need to do is UNDERLAY Torres in the First Goalscorer Market and then LAY the designated goalscorer (Torres in this case) in the To Score market to lock in a profit. Or just BACK and LAY an alternative selection (if the odds match up is better) and again Lay Torres in the To Score market to lock in a profit.

Remember we picked up some nice easy profits during the last Champions League set of fixtures, look…..

Man City v Villarreal with Dzeko as the cashback scorer, was only £7 profit but hey it is all free money!

BACK Dzeko First Goalscorer (FGS) at Ladbrokes with £100 @ 5
LAY Dzeko First Goalscorer at Betfair with £72.07 @ 5.6

LAY Dzeko Anytime Goalscorer (AGS) at Betfair with £41.15 @ 2.48

If Dzeko scores first then I win £400 at Ladbrokes and lose £392.44 (£331.53 (FGS lay) + £60.91 (AGS lay)) at Betfair for a £7.56 profit

If Dzeko scores any other time in the game then I am even at Ladbrokes with my £100 cashback and I win £68.47 (FGS lay) at Betfair (FGS lay) and lose £39.09 (AGS lay) for a £7.56 profit

If Dzeko doesn’t score at all then I lose £100 at Ladbrokes but win £68.47 at Betfair (FGS lay) and win £39.09 (AGS lay) for a £7.56 profit

Naturally you will be needing a Ladbrokes account too, ideal for all these little extras they keep chucking at us recently. So if you don’t have one you can grab a massive free £50 sign up bet too, all nice and easy as we have all the bets for this on Oddsmatcher.

and the great thing is you can qualify for the free sign up bet with a bet at ANY odds, look…..

Betfair Stat Attack – January

January 31, 2010 by

Welcome to Stat Attack with our friends over at BETFAIR

Here we give a round up of the pick of the prices traded on the exchange during the past month’s football.

Certainly makes for some interesting reading…….

30th / 31st January 2010

Manchester United were matched at odds of 60 on Betfair to beat Arsenal by a 3-1 scoreline this afternoon and in the process they have once again thrown the title race wide open. Two goals in quick succession towards the end of the first half caught layers of the 0-2 half-time scoreline (also at odds of 60) off-guard. The scorer of the first of those two goals, Nani, was backed at 17 to grab the opener.

Man Utd were matched at a high of 3.6 to win the match and the three points they earned this afternoon and the impressive performance with which they got them has seen them shorten to 3.25 to win the Premier League. Arsenal’s chances are beginning to be dismissed with the Gunners now as long as 13.5 for the title from a low of 4.10, whilst Chelsea still head the market at 1.69.

Earlier in the day Manchester City dispatched Portsmouth with the minimum of fuss in a 2-0 home win that has seen them come into odds of 1.99 for that coveted top four finish. Portsmouth’s woes continue both on and off the field and the defeat has seen them go odds-on to finish the season rock bottom at 1.72; an unthinkable situation during the summer when they were matched as long as 38 to finish bottom of the pile.

Meanwhile on Saturday, Everton were impressive in beating Wigan away from home 1-0, matched at 5.3 on the match odds market and 9.8 on the correct score market, a match they won courtesy of a Tim Cahill header. That result, alongside Tottenham’s inability to hand on to their lead, means that the Toffees aren’t quite out of the race for a Top 4 finish. Spurs were 1-0 up going into injury time after a Jermaine Defoe goal but a typically resilient Birmingham performance saw them come back to draw the match 1-1, the stalemate being backed at 15.5 and the away win as low as 1.07.

It was far easier for another top four contender, Liverpool, who beat Bolton 2-0 after briefly touching 1.7 on the match odds market. Liverpool are 3.25 to finish the season in a Champions League place, a shade shorter than Aston villa at 4.0, who also won this afternoon when a Gabriel Agbonlahor brace was enough to secure a 2-0 win after they were matched at 3.05.

At the opposite end of the table the 2-2 draw between Hull and Wolves means the former have shortened to 1.7 for the drop whilst Wolves are at the 2.3 mark to go down.

27th January 2010

Manchester United v Manchester City (3-1)
Man Utd matched at 2.8 to qualify for the final, City at 1.56
Final score of 3-1 matched at 42
Utd are 1.5 favourites to win the Carling Cup, Aston Villa available to back at 2.92

Aston Villa v Arsenal (0-0)
Draw backed at 3.6
Arsenal backed at a low of 2.14
Arsenal trade at 5.5 to win the league

Blackburn v Wigan (2-1)
Blackburn backed at 5.2

Chelsea v Birmingham (3-0)
Chelsea backed at a high of 1.32
Chelsea 1.73 to win the Premier League

Everton v Sunderland (2-0)
Everton touch 1.75 on the exchange

26th January 2010

Owen Coyle will be feeling glad tonight that he switched allegiances when he left Burnley for Bolton earlier this month after his new side took all three points tonight in a relegation six-pointer. The home win was matched at evens on Betfair, with the correct score touching 9.8. The defeat sees Burnley trade at 1.75 for the drop and predictably means Bolton’s price went the other way with the Trotters now eased to 4.4 to be spending life in The Championship next season.

One of the few sides to be trading shorter than Burnley, Portsmouth (currently at 1.41) at least got something to show for their night’s work when they picked up a point against another side fighting to beat the drop in the shape of West Ham. Gianfranco Zola’s team took the lead and traded at just 1.27 to leave Fratton Park with all three points but a spirited performance from Pompey saw them fight back and share the spoils. The draw was backed at 5.4.

Meanwhile, two significant matches took place in the battle for fourth place with Spurs getting one over Liverpool. As Rafa Benitez’s side put in yet another lacklustre performance away at Molineux in a goalless draw, Tottenham were highly impressive in a 2-0 win over Fulham after being matched at a high of 1.82. But the market still makes Liverpool a shorter price than the North London outfit for a top four place; Spurs are 4.7 whilst Liverpool are 3.1 though Man City trade at a shorter price than the pair. They are just 2.2 on this market having traded at a high of 4.9 before the arrival of Roberto Mancini.

19th January 2010

Manchester City, inspired by a Carlos Tevez double, recovered from being 1-0 down against Manchester United to reward their backers who got them as big as 13.5 in-running on Betfair tonight. Ryan Giggs opened the scoring for United, who came in from about 2.8 to a mark of around 2.2 when Sir Alex Ferguson chose to name his strongest possible side.

But Tevez’s brace, the first from the spot after a controversial penalty was awarded, meant those who had backed United to win at odds of 1.37 were denied, as were those who took even money on the draw with the score at 1-1. City will go into the second leg as the 1.6 favourites on the to qualify (for the final) market with United 2.6. Mancini’ side are 3.1 to win the competition, having traded at a high of 12 earlier on in the campaign. Man Utd, surprisingly given they’re the outsiders to progress, are shorter to lift the trophy at 3.1

In the FA Cup, there were wins for Notts County over Forest Green Rovers and Cardiff over Bristol City, with the winners matched at 1.87 and 4.4 respectively.
