World Record Football Profits Blog
Well my football playing days are long behind me, even numerous phone calls from Fabio can’t tempt me out of retirement but I still feel I can do my bit off the pitch, so when I heard about the boys from Leeds and Warwick Universities were going to get their Football World Record back, I just had to get involved.
Remember their 36 hour marathon from last year well this time they are back for more!
The boys are raising money for the Meningitis Trust in memory of Jamie Burdett, who played for one of the teams, The Badgers and passed away from Meningitis three years ago. They aim to play continuously for 57 hours in order to set a new world record, equivalent to playing a full Premiership season in one go, wow! This will break the existing record by nearly 15 hours, after seeing their previous held record of 36 hours overhauled earlier this year.
The match at Warwick University will run from 11am on Friday, September 3rd, until 8pm on Sunday, September 5th.
Bet72 are delighted to be involved with the event and to help boost the donation bank, I am doing a “risk free betting challenge” once again.
Starting on 1st September, for the whole month, every penny I make from doing my own personal offers will be added to the pot. Not saying I can get on and do everything out there but it is all for a good cause so any profit will be worthwhile. Just think making £20 a day over the month there will be £600 to donate!
