Bet72 Profits Diary – April 2009

Well it has been quiet a month so far as I have had to divert my attentions to technical issues on the site and also have been away for a few days so have missed a number of offers.  That said there have been plenty of offers about with honours really going to two bookmakers, William Hill and Ladbrokes.

Billy Hill has surpassed himself with more BuyOneGetOneFree (BOGOF) offers than you could shake a stick at and Ladbrokes has been doing the same on the casino front, lovely.

Between these great existing offers I have found time for plenty of trading as a matter of fact, starting off with the Aintree meeting at the beginning of the month, using a very nifty little strategy a pro trader friend of mind advised me on (more on that in later editions) through to a fantastic low risk football strategy that has been kicked around on the Racing Traders forum involving the Correct Score market.  Basically you take a position on a number of scores pre kick off and then lay out the positions during the game, hopefully getting ALL GREEN as soon as you can, this has worked so well that we are teeing up some live trading webinars so everyone can watch and even play along if they like, so watch this space.

Bet72 Profits Diary – March 2009

This month is like one of those, “complete works of Shakespear in a minute” plays, I managed to corrupt the file I was working on over the month so rather than recreate it all (I am a lazy sod) here is March in a nutshell.

OK high hopes for March, Cheltenham et all, so let’s see what happened.

Right starter for tenner, I cashed out my free bet on the Carling Cup final from the latest Will Hill BOGOF offer for £6.38 profit.

Managed to get on a little more Pre-Cheltenham Ladbrokes 3/1+ offer for a very nice £66.76

Was really busy getting the site etc… ready pre Cheltenham so I didn’t do anything upto the festival, then it was off!

I did quite a bit of trading actually, which netted me £212.75 in profits, small fry to the pros but I was happy with that, I am still learning!

As for the offers well we picked up the following…..

Paddypower Cousin Vinny Offer = £28.56 x 2

Centrebet Gold Cup = £17.01
Ladbrokes 3/1+ offer = £302.21 What a great offer long may it continue (update it has not appeared since!!)

So a grand total of £421.22 plus the trading cash, meant a very nice few afternoons work!

Finally got around to doing the financials offer VC (£250 refund) and Tradefair (free £75). Worked on a very easy strategy based on BUYing at VC and SELLing at 1/2 the value on Tradfair, with stop losses in place. Netted £182 profit from this using the GBP against the Euro market, I am no Robbie Burns (www.nakedtrader.co.uk) but for my first dabble into financials I was very happy. I cannot withdraw the free £75 from Tradefair for 3 months but will pay for a nice night out for me and Mrs B when it is available in June. I will have forgotten about it by then so it will seem like another bonus when it flashes up on my electronic calendar to withfdraw!

Over at Ladbrokes we saw a free £10 offer for playing 3 Card Poker, usual Q64 strategy here for a very easy £9 profit.

Centrebet did a free Dubai racing offer which netted another £7.02 profit (x 2) and more BOGOF’s from Billy boy footy, darts and F1 added £6.82 profit for me and Mrs B respectively.

Coral had a virtual games offer for a free £10, well documented on bet72 and netted £7.37 for Mrs B and £7.52 for me

Not to be outdone Betair sent me a free offer for their Arcade games area. Make 10 bets on Deal or No Deal and get the 11th free (upto £20), used our regular DOND strategy here and made a very nice £26.13 on my account but lost £14.01 on Mrs B’s but still a net profit of £12.12 for less than 10 minutes clicking!

Profit/Loss – 1st – 31st March 2009 = +£767.17 – Total March 2009 = +£767.17 (plus £212.75 trading, so almost £1K)

28th February

Few what a month, my head has been buried in all things wordpress getting to grips with everything on the new site. Well we are live and running, a few more tweaks and additions (hence the soft launch / beta mode) but I am delighted with it. It couldn’t have been done without Lee for Juicestorm, a true star, thanks for all your help mate, I hope you didn’t mind all the blood, sweat and tears on SKYPE!

On the bonus front naturally I have had little time this month but hey we have still done a bit.

Picked up another BOGOF from WILLIAM HILL, only a tenner this week but made £6.67 overall

Managed to be about for 6 bets on Saturday on the LADBROKES 1..2..3 offer again, very similar based on the Bet365 racing offer this was a find a winner at 3/1+ on all the TV races and get a free snr racing bet, no min or maximum stake, nice. 5 losers and £65.21 profit.

I have also been working on a couple of spread offers I was sent, firstly an outstanding IGSPORT one, they had offered me 2 x £200 free bets back in Jan for beting an old Spreadfair customer, but I never got around to it. With a bit of negoiation they said they would extend this to the end of Feb, well it would be rude not too try wouldn’t it! Had to place 15 bets over risking £20 each time. Managed to pick out nearly all 100%ers along the way so and cashed out the free bets for £121.78 and £117.24 respectively, so I made £232.76 overall, very nice.

Plus SI had also offered me (and Mrs Bet72) a double your profits upto £100 on both our accounts, very good offer this and again managed to make £97.98 and £94.21 on each account respectively, I love spread betting.

So the last week ends on a real high and I am happy, didn’t break 4 figures but for what I did this was excellent to be honest and Cheltenham to come so I expect March to be a record breaker!

22nd February

Again have been wrapped up on the new site and some enhancements to Oddsmatcher, we are nearly there, should be live on Wednesday!

Triple bonus from WILLIAM HILL and their continuing BOGOF offers, 3 x £25 correct score freebies, £16.21 £13.74 and £14.72 respectively from these.

Managed to be about for 5 bets on Saturday on the LADBROKES 1..2..3 offer again, very similar based on the Bet365 racing offer this was a find a winner at 3/1+ on all the TV races and get a free snr racing bet, no min or maximum stake, nice. all losers and £46.76 profit.

Still got a couple of juicy ones to get onto before the end of the month, mental note, Feb has 28 days, Feb has 28 days…..!

8th February

A quiet week for me this week, away for a couple of days and then playing catch up so not as much to report as I would have liked but still some profits to be had and it is all free money so I ain’t complaining. Just need to pull my finger out for the rest of Feb mind to hit the £1K but I it can still be done!

Picked up a free £20 from WILLIAM HILL on their BOGOF offer on the West Indies v England 1st test, I made £13.67 overall (almost as much as England’s second innings total!), then WH can back with another on the weekend’s six nations rugby, this time it was on the first try scorer market on Sat and Sun, not a very liquid market on Betfair but still made £10.51.

BETINTERNET also offered a free £20 bet offer around the six nations too, not had the freebie credited yet, but am £7 down with the free £20 to come, should be good for about £15 so another £8 there then.

Picked up an offer from Austrian bookmaker CASHPOINT on a free €50 bonus send over by Moneybookers if I used then to deposit,well worth having an account with Moneybookers, good for alot of the new non UK sites (and casinos) we are going to be testing soon. Anyway all cashed out in one for a £39.22 profit on Saturday’s footy.

And from north of the border, MCBOOKIE, a clone of JENNINGSBET gave us a free £30 bet after wagering 3 x £30 at evens or above, all done a dusted for a decent little £17.02 profit.

Also did the JACKPOTJOY Valentines Day free fiver offers for me and Mrs B, ah. £2 down on my account, £3 down on hers but a free fiver to come on each on the 14th so another £5 profit, hurrah!

4th January

Welcome 2009, welcome indeed.

We have really hit the ground running, will be a record month if we carry on like this, I haven’t even reviewed all the offers yet!

First up I got a free £100 bet at LADBROKES this was after I was emailed re an offer on the Welsh Grand National on the 27th Dec, place a bet and if the SP of the horse is bigger than the price you take you get a free bet to that value (max. £100), well why not. Lost £10.80 on the qualifying bet but cashout for £82.89 profit with the free bet, so that is £72.09 to get the year started with.

It may be a new year but the old faithfuls rumble on, PARTYBETS and GAMEBOOKERS Ice Hockey this week netted £21.09 overall profit.

Plus these boys offered up a fantastic £100 bonus each on your first deposit of the year, wow. I have a PARTYBETS and GAMEBOOKERS account and Mrs B a PARTYBETS one so that was an unexpected £300 bonus, duly cashed out for £252 profit on the horses too, Happy New Year!

Then an email from VIRGIN CASINO for a new year bonus too on your first one before the 7th of Jan too, played out using our dead easy Three Card Poker strategy and made £62 myself and £43 for Mrs Bet72!

I like 2009 so far…….

31st December

What a great way to end the month and 2008.

Not around to do anything much, then the dreaded end of year “cold” struck so I was in no mood to be behind a keyboard and screen, but my bot friend was!

Manage to collect another £200 bonus at LITTLEWOODS Casino, again played Blackjack with our friend CASIBOT I have ended the week with a £156.32 profit, with more bonuses to come too, I love it.

So happy days and a great end to a fantastic year.

22nd December

I have been away for a couple of days so could get onto all the offers about but still a respectable week for not a lot of effort to be honest!

Netted another £76.24 from the latest Littlewoods casino loyalty offer, the T&C’s effectively doubled the wagering but me old mate CASIBOT dealt with this no problem, hurrah.

Continuing on the casino theme, Ladbrokes sent me out another offer, this time in 3 card poker, nice and easy again, using our “Virgin” strategy (see here), netted £34.50 from this one.

Another PaddyPower tenner, so £8 from that.

On the sportsbook side, a little more quiet, but still managed to pick up the new offer from Goalwin, £12 profit for me.

More SUNDERLANDS racing freebies, this time a free £50 offer if I had a winner blah, blah, played this out like the Bet365 deal and collected an easy £7.78 after finding a good match up of odds, SUNDERLANDS proving a useful addition to my armoury this month!

PARTYBETS and GAMEBOOKERS Ice Hockey this week netted £19.55 overall profit.

The advent calendar offers seem to have fizzled out a little nothing worthy of note really apart from a free £5 from SKYVEGAS, which I “gambled” upto £15 on BJ, it was free so that is a risk free punt in my book. And made €5.50 on a Hi-Lo offer from Mybet. I could have picked up a couple more my missed out as I forgot to check the offers in time, doh!

Still the fesitive profits keep on rising…….ho, ho, bloody ho!

15th December

Woah, quite a week bonus wise, it’s the most wonderful time of the year, as the song goes. One of the best yet!

Firstly had a free £10 bonus from MeccaGames, if I wagered £10, I played BJ and made £6, got the free tenner and wagered that for a 50p profit too, so £16.50, very nice.

LITTLEWOODS Casino have been throwing all sorts of bonuses about this week, again playing Blackjack with our friend CASIBOT I have ended the week with a £176.56 profit, with more bonuses to come too, I love it!

More casino magic as we got all European with our French Roulette strategy, courtesy of ROXY PALACE CASINO. Anyway this super fast little number brought us a quick fire £68 profit, ooh la, la!

A new bookmaker joined the ranks too GLOBETSPORT, with a very tasty offer. 2 x free £25 bets and these are playing out as Stake Returned offers currently, £47.89 profit for me!

Another email from SUNDERLANDS, offering me a free £100 bet on the 2:55 at Doncaster at if I backed the winner of the 12:45 at Cheltenham there. Managed to pick an 8/1 winner (wasn’t the plan) but still netted £15.12 from the offer and they are fast payers so my exchange account is all topped up again now!

PARTYBETS and GAMEBOOKERS Ice Hockey this week netted £22.67 overall profit.

On the advent calendar front, made €5.30 on MYBET Golden Bonanza Keno , €1 on today’s free scratch card too, and a free “mystery” £5 from SKYBET

Finally SPORTINGINDEX have some excellent bonuses all year round and emailed me to say they would double my profits upto £100 (upto 14th Dec), £100 that will be then, kerrching!

Honestly do check out our spread betting ideas on the free bets blog,  these spreadbet offers are fantastic and SPORTINGINDEX always seem to have something not far around the corner to make a few quid from.

Finally another free tenner from PADDYPOWER, secured for a £1 loss on Roulette but then I played with bonus a little and made £9.50, very nice indeed!

7th December

Well December is upon us and so, I am pleased to say are the bookmaker advent calendars. Hopefully a few juicy offers for us all to get stuck into.

Kicked off the month with an advent offer actually a 50% offer at TOTESPORT, upto £50. Good old CASIBOT (Casino Hold’em version) helped me here and we actually made a £54 profit overall, nice start to the month.

Not around for a couple of days then but it was soon NHL day again from PARTYBETS and GAMEBOOKERS which netted £25.76 overall profit.

The BETWAY ice hockey promo never appeared on the site, I thought this was an oversight and I wagered anyway but I never got the free bet as apparently this offer has been pulled now and may not be coming back. I moaned out the lack of info to their customer support and was given a free £10 so made £7.56 overall. I do hope it is coming back, nice steady drip of profits these hockey offers.

LITTLEWOODS have a storming casino month for December, giving away bonuses left right and centre. On Dec 5th was informed of their first 50% bonus to upto £100 max. only 20x wagering and BJ is allowed, hurrah! £200 in, fired up CASIBOT (BJ version this time) and ended up with a £65.02 profit. Apparently more of these on the way this month so well worth having a look, via their advent calendar, LITTLEWOODS

Talking of advent calendars, so far I have netted £8.41 for 2 x £5 freebets from Bet24, £4.61 profit from a free fiver from SKYBET and £9.40 from the MYBET free slots offer, keep ‘em coming boys!

Had a very tasty offer emailed to me from SUNDERLANDS, offered me a free £100 bet at Sandown if I backed the winner of the 1.25 there and a £50 one at Warwick on Sunday. Wasn’t around to do it Sunday but netted £33.76 from Saturdays offer, simply by overlaying in the fav. which lost and I was out without having to do the free bet!

Another free tenner games offer from PADDYPOWER, Top Trumps now not allowed, doh! But played BJ this time and ended up +£1 on my account and +£7 for Mrs B so worthwhile again.

Looks like Dec is going to be a grand old month!

23rd November

Friday, got a text from BLUE SQ offering a free 10% bet upto £25 on each of races at the afternoon’s Ascot meeting. Worth a crack I thought and well here is something I could not have done if I had tried, pick 4 winners out of 4 staking £250 a go on each (at combined odds of over 101/1). No I am not typing this from my yacht in the Med. as, with all risk free opportunities I laid all 4 selections too, it is great being so disciplined! The other 2 lost and my Betdaq account had taken a hell of a beating but I had managed to secure £150 in free bets over 3 hours for just an £42 loss even managed an arbs along the way too! Then managed to cash out the freebies for £114.83 so that was a very nice £72.83, not bad for an offer I didn’t expect and 2 minutes work per race!

Took £12 overall profit from 2 accounts from the BETWAY Ice Hockey promo, this is scheduled to be on every week for the foreseeable so worth checking it out, I will get the details on the free bets blog.

No luck on the weekend £10 BLUE SQ games offer but nothing lost, didn’t expect anything after my recent horse racing activities!

A week to go, still confident of breaking the £1K mark for November, but I am going to have to step it up a little.
