Go Behind Enemy Lines

Often the best place to start is by taking a peek behind enemy lines and seeing what offers the bookies are rabbiting on about. And then avoiding them like the plague!

There is a reason they often have big posters outside bookie shops shouting about bets like ‘Liverpool to win 3-1 and Gerrard to score at 50/1’.

Its because more often than not they know these bets are bad value and under-priced. These are mug bets. Forget 50/1 – try 500/1!!

They know how tantalising the promise of a big 50/1 payday can be, but also how easy to understand these type of bets are.

Yet in actual fact these same bookies are also offering plenty of bets in markets that shrewd gamblers focus on – they are just a bit more shy about publicising them.
