RVP Cashback

Posted on November 26, 2011 by

Well he’s the man of the moment for all Arsenal fans so only fitting that Robin van Persie be the featured player in the next brilliant cashback deal from Ladbrokes.

As we said just the other day if you ain’t got an account yet you really should get one as you are missing out on some great deals, look…..

Money back if Robin van Persie scores at any time against Fulham (26/11/11) upto £50

This is an excellent offer as you can get some great value playing these or you can even lock in some guaranteed profits if you like too.

All you need to do is UNDERLAY your selection in the First Goalscorer Market and then LAY the designated goalscorer (RVP in this case) in the To Score market to lock in a profit OR UNDERLAY RVP in the FGS market and LAY him in the AGS market….

Remember how we picked up some nice easy profits during the Champions League (this was a £100 offer)…..

Man City v Villarreal with Dzeko as the cashback scorer, only £7 profit but hey it is all free money!

BACK Dzeko First Goalscorer (FGS) at Ladbrokes with £100 @ 5
LAY Dzeko First Goalscorer at Betfair with £72.07 @ 5.6

LAY Dzeko Anytime Goalscorer (AGS) at Betfair with £41.15 @ 2.48

If Dzeko scores first then I win £400 at Ladbrokes and lose £392.44 (£331.53 (FGS lay) + £60.91 (AGS lay)) at Betfair for a £7.56 profit

If Dzeko scores any other time in the game then I am even at Ladbrokes with my £100 cashback and I win £68.47 (FGS lay) at Betfair (FGS lay) and lose £39.09 (AGS lay) for a £7.56 profit

If Dzeko doesn’t score at all then I lose £100 at Ladbrokes but win £68.47 at Betfair (FGS lay) and win £39.09 (AGS lay) for a £7.56 profit

Naturally you will be needing a Ladbrokes account too, ideal for all these little extras they keep chucking at us recently. So if you don’t have one you can grab a massive free £50 sign up bet too, all nice and easy as we have all the bets for this on Oddsmatcher.

Hi Darren – current odds are RVP 4.0 for FGS at Ladbrokes. You can LAY him as FGS at 5.2 and Lay him to score at 2.68.

Working thru the Maths applying the same underlay principle in the Dzeko bet above I calculate that you need to Lay him as FGS with £58.25 and Lay him to score anytime with £38.02 but this gives an equal loss of 8.53 in each of the 3 outcomes !

Are the odds just not close enough to produce a risk free profit here or have I messed up ?

    Van Persie ‘Ladbrokes’ Bet 01/11/2011

I’m unable to produce a profitable trade from the odds available. The margin between VP to be FGS on Laddies is 4.00, but 5.20 to lay on Betfair. VP to scotre at anytime is falling on Betfair, currently 2.46.

I’ll check nearer KO, but looks to me like that 5.2 needs to come in!

Do you have a template/spreadsheet/calculator for working out the stakes for these kind of bets?

    Cheers

    Gwynn

The best match up is on NGS in the First Goalscorer market and 0-0 on BF (9 / 13) then lay RVP in the To Score Market. You can then fully lay the 0-0 as it cannot win if the RVP lay wins i.e. there has been a goalscorer. In which case just use the regular IF spreadsheet featured here – http://bet72.com/news/bet72-news/if-when-why-what/

I’ll sort out a page for the spreadsheets etc… ready for the next set of offers

I get this in principle, but I’m not sure how you work out just how much to underlay FGS by, and then consequently how much to lay AGs by? Even using the spreadsheet, I’m having trouble. Anyone want to help an idiot?

No profit in this at all at the moment and no liquidity in the To Score market anyway so think this is a non starter today to be honest
