Terms and Conditions
Open an account, place a win single bet (up to a maximum of £10 or currency equivalent) and Blue Square will credit your account with a betting token to the same value.
1. Offer applies to new customers only, existing Blue Square customers do not qualify.
2. Offer limited to one per person.
3. Non-runners do not qualify as bets.
4. Free Bet Offer is open to residents of UK and Ireland only.
5. Free Bet Token not included in any returns.
6. Free Bet Token must be used in their entirety. They cannot be used to place a succession of smaller bets.
7. Free Bet Token must be used on win singles bets only with odds of evens or greater and will expire after 30 days after being issued.
8. Free Bet Token cannot be used to place bets on numbers games, lotteries or pools (including Tote and US horse racing).
9. This offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other open account offer.
10. Free Bet Token offer is triggered in relation to first deposit and bet and will not be applicable for subsequent deposit values.
11. Blue Square offers are intended for recreational players and Blue Square may limit the eligibility of customers to participate in any promotion.
12. Free Bet Token must be used in accordance with Blue Square’s general terms and conditions.
13. We reserve the right to amend or withdraw any promotion at any time at our discretion.
14. Free bets cannot be combined with other bets on the same market. In the event of this occurring we reserve the right to void all winnings.
15. If there is evidence that customers are using free bets or other promotional offers to guarantee profits regardless of the outcome we reserve the right to void free bets or any bets funded by bonuses.
16. Blue Square reserves the right to void any bet that makes use of this offer if Blue Square suspects that the person placing the bet is not eligible to make use of it and that person cannot prove their eligibility to Blue Square’s entire satisfaction.
17. This offer is limited to over 18s only.How to use Free Bet Tokens:
Qualifying bet must be used on a selection with odds of evens or greater. Free bet not included in any returns and must be used as a fixed odds win single. You can view your free bet tokens in “Your Account” under “Free Bets” in menu on left side.
The option to use a Free Bet Token will appear on the betting slip when you make a qualifying selection. To redeem the token, check the box that appears beside it and select an outcome from the dropdown to the right.

Hi Darren,
I thought I’d give this one a whirl this morning but I am getting confused!
I have put £100 in to BlueSq ready to place 10 win bets this afternoon and lay them off on Betfair – fine. I would then expect to see 10x£10 bet tokens in my account
However I dont understand the way the 10x£10 bet tokens work and is that linked to the ‘Non-Returned Stake’?
As far as I can understand you dont get the £10 token as cash to withdraw it is just a ‘chip’ to play with – the bit I am struggling with is when I use it how much should I lay off on betfair? Bet72 calculator has a ‘Non Returned stake’ does this come into play in this case – and then how does the maths work…
Sorry to seem a bit thick, but don’t want to mess up.

Yes Victor, just select Non Returned Stake on the calculator and use higher odds selections to generate some extra liquidity in the bets as the free bet stake is not returned. Have a play with a few selections at different odds and you will see the likely profits you can generate.

You will only get one £10 token.
T&C say that you make ten bets and then get one token
I thought about doing this with £100 but I would have to make £1000 worth of bets to get a £100 token.
Too much effort for the return imo.
The ‘make one bet to get a free bet’ offers are better.

Watch your betting. Dont be too succesful or else Blue Square will limit you. I was 7 bets into my ten bet run when Bsq limited me to £5 per bet. As a result I now have a £71 free bet that I can’t use until I have called them and asked them to up the limit on my account.

Yeah I see that now – i thought I’d get 10 free £10 bets with my £100 (10x£10 bets) but its going to be 1 x £10 bet token. Am six bets in (all losers – so dont have to worry about BlSq shutting me down!)….may as well finish it off this afternoon.
