Eye of the Tiger Newbie Blog – 25th June
Posted on June 25, 2009 by Darren Hall
Well this was a first for me Tennis betting. I decided to take advantage (get it, Tennis, advantage, oh I am so funny), of the fact Roger Federer was playing and we had back and lay prices of 1.01 and 1.02 respectively. Bet72 says it doesn’t get any better than this so who am I to argue!
First up Centrebet and their free £20 offer
Back Federer with £20 at 1.01 at Centrebet
Lay Federer with £20.82 at 1.02 at Betfair. A crazy 42p (yes 42p) to cover the lay at Betfair, I like that!
So a free £20 for just a 22p loss and it was credited instantly, I like that even better!
And there was more, Coral and this beauty.
Back Federer with £10 at 1.01 at Coral
Lay Federer with £10.41 at 1.02 at Betfair. Now that one cost 21p (what??, yes 21p) to cover the lay at Betfair and the free bet was instantly credited and stake returned so I could, in theory back Federer again.
This had only cost 11p and I now had the free £10 credit. So I did the same again.
Back Federer with the free £10 at 1.01 at Coral
Lay Federer with £10.41 at 1.02 at Betfair. Another 21p to cover this, liablities in pennies this is great!
This was a £9.89 profit (£9.78 overall) and was all realised very quickly as Roger did the business as usual so this was all mine to withdraw that afternoon.
With the Betfair account topped up I decided to cash out the free £50 from Betfred first, then move onto Centrebet, I like to do these in order.
Spain v USA was the match and I fully expected Spain to coast it so
Back Draw with the free £50 at 5.50 at Betfred
Lay Draw with £35.43 at 6.40 at Betfair. This cost £191.34 to lay off and locked in a very tasty £33.66 profit.
The game wasn’t a draw I was right about that but it was the USA who won. That is why I like this risk free betting, even when I get the outcome wrong I still make money, when else can you say that!
We have now broken the 3 figure profit mark, quite a landmark I think and the best news of all is that we have barely started.
Total profit: £108.14
