As I hope you all know by now we are well on our way with the fundraising effort for this years big event, The 2012 London Marathon.

As you can see from that page, the fundraising got off to the best possible start thanks to the good and the great from the GeeksToy website (www.geekstoy.com), and in particular from The Geek himself.

Thanks to his marvelous generosity following his Real Trader Challenge back in September 2011.

So welcome to “The Real Trader” charity challenge. In this challenge to a maximum of £2000, I will be offering £150 each up to charity for those consistent winners that provide either a video of their 3 month Betfair P&L, or their 3 month P&L plus their lifetime P&L via the premium portal. Any money raised will be split 50:50 between Darren Hall’s latest charity run, and the Children in Need fundraiser planned for November.

From this he donated a staggering £1000 to me, £750 of that went to help my son fund his trip to India later this year as part of a community / schools rebuilding project and the other £250, has launched my own London Marathon event for the fantastic SeeAbility charity that I am running for this year.

Brilliant stuff!
